... introduction of the appello Amateur Radio division
The main business in the past for appello was a technical call center
for companies like Toshiba, Gigabyte,
SiPix und OLYMPUS to name a few. Appello offered after sales service
in the name of these companies.
One of the two CEOs of appello is a very active
radio amateur since he got his license in the year 1982 - his call DL6LAU.
In the very beginning he was often frustrated from products he bought
for his hobby. While he was studying he founded the small company "VHF-SHOP
Laboe" and started to build high power tube amplifiers, mainly
for VHF.
After the end of his studies he soon founded
appello GmbH with another friend. While appello was growing nicely
there was no real time for amateur radio projects.
Today, appello is now able to expand this
business. We are offering highly sophisticated products, some times
not really known on the German Market but used on our own with great
results.
To keep it short - we will only sell products we
would also use ourselves.
